Matt Bunk is an interdisciplinary artist and curator centered on serendipity. To him, the ideal show can only happen when and where it happens. His work deals with death, memory, and their distortions.

Matt is a founding member of the Address Book collective and a proud Field Worker for the Ecogeogplyphic Observatory. Matt has shown at and curated programming for MING Studios and was recently awarded the Alexa Rose Show + Tell residency at The Common Well.

He acts, directs, and sound designs for theater all over the place, including with The Boise Bard Players, Rolodex, Campfire Theater Festival, and Alley Repertory Theater. Matt’s body of musical work includes scores for live performances, podcasts, and installations, as well as albums with the bands All Around Cowboy and Sage Country Fragments. His writing has appeared in outlets including Elsewhere: A Journal of Place, Oroboro, and Paper Plane Press.

He is slowly cobbling together one career by pursuing several at the same time. Across disciplines, Matt is forever in pursuit of surprise.
